School board meeting last Monday. I feel I added a lot to it...but parents are mad about the changes....that SOME HAVE to be MADE!! I Dreaded it....knowing the decisions we make are going to be changing lives. HUGELY changing lives. Every day the papers carry stories of schools and the horrifying cuts they have to make, people getting fired, schools closing, its crazy and sad. NO MONEY means NO SERVICES. We can't run on air!
Tuesday....Talent Show at the kids school. "Talent" in quotation marks if ya know what I mean....TRIED to talk my 11 year old from singing....AWWCK...and ddamned if she and her GF didn't get 2nd place. they were the only ones REALLY SINGING, not "lip synching". She also did Tae Kwon Do kicks and forms with other team mates.
Thursday was my son's IEP. He is an ASPERGER's kid. Mild, yes, but still. The Special Ed teacher comes in WITH MY SON. My son and I had discussed at home wether he wanted to be there or not...He did NOT want to be there. An Asperger kid answers VERY LITERALLY ok..>For example...Spec ed teacher says...:"Where do you see yourself living in 5 years"....Son say, " DOOOOH< ON EARTH"...which for an Asperger kids is PERFECTLY in keeping with the way they think. SHE got ticked off. These kids CANNOT answer in front of a bunch of people either!! They should have been asked PRIVATLEY outside of a group of people.!! GET A CLUE!!
My co worker has been hospitalized...I'm picking up her classes....its crazy...I'm freaking,,,,,yet trying to be organized and together. Its tough.
Yesterday....hub's birthday, Parade for veterans, Movie..>INDIANA JONES GO NOW it was GREAT!!!
My daughter got her jaw dislocated we think...today...she got her braces and outside head gear. I'm overwhelmed.
AWWWW.

Kid quotes
After my Son's IEP (He's OFF the charts in most subject areas, and Math..yah Not so hot) ...and discussing the possibility of looking for some type of on line or CD rom Math for the summer...
"Mom, Satan's Favorite subject is MATH".
"MATH" is derived from the Latin "mathis" meaning "Satan's Alphabet" -Urban Dictionary
Person A: "I hate my life and I want to make it horrible"
Person B: "I know of a good math class..."
one of Lucifer's many ways of making us suffer.

One day, long, long ago.......
there lived a woman who did not whine, nag or bitch.

More Photo's From the Eighties
OK, My friend scanned and sent me the picture of the couple. Evidently EVEN BACK THEN I HAD A SENSE of HUMOR, as SHE DID NOT KNOW the couple...and I wrote on the back..."So in the FUTURE, you can look at this picture and say in your best 'Steve Martin" voice...Who in the HELL are these people?"..How funny is THAT.
Look at my LOOOOONG hair in the Pic I'm sharing the dog biscuit!!!
The one with wine on the car must have been shortly after my divorce from "mr preacher man can't keep his hands or dick off other women". ....I look very happy.
In the Email Jayne sent she writes, "I'm on a scanning frenzy. Really, Jayne? I know you gotta love these!! I'm LMAO at the second picture and why you sent it to me. You explain on the back of pic #3. Funny stuff. Last one - - - - Warren Hickey at Freddie's.". Thats Jayne a Bar buddy Warren in the first picture.

Robert Mondavi Dies
I loved the story how he and his wife had a ONE bedroom HUGE house, so that they had privacy.
Robert and I...sometimes I call him BOB, have spent some time together. He will be missed.
BERKELEY, Calif. - Robert Mondavi, the pioneering vintner who helped put California wine country on the map, died at his Napa Valley home Friday. He was 94. Mondavi died peacefully at his home in Yountville, Robert Mondavi Winery spokeswoman Mia Malm said.
He was 52 and a winemaking veteran in 1966, when he opened the winery that would help turn the Napa Valley into a world center of the industry. Clashes with a brother that included a fistfight led him to break from the family business to carry out his ambitious plans with borrowed money.
"He had the single greatest influence in this country with respect to high quality wine and its place at the table," wine critic Robert Parker wrote in a chat room posting on his Web site Friday. He called Mondavi "an exceptional man....a true pioneer...a legendary pathfinder.....and I feel so priviledged to have known him...a sad day...but also one to pay homage to his enormous contributions."
When Mondavi opened his winery, California was still primarily known for cheap jug wines. But he set out to change that, championing use of cold fermentation, stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels, all commonplace in the industry today. He introduced blind tastings in Napa Valley, putting his wines up against French vintages, a bold move.
His confidence was rewarded in 1976 when California wines beat some well-known French vintages in the famous tasting known as the Judgment of Paris.
Always convinced that California wines could compete with the European greats, Mondavi engaged in the first French-American wine venture when he formed a limited partnership with the legendary French vintner Baron Philippe de Rothschild to grow and make the ultra-premium Opus One at Oakville. The venture's first vintage was in 1979.

I think I may add this as a regular feature, and claim it all happens to ME. YEs.I think I will.
Today for your enjoyment:
# 1 MICHIGAN woman mistook naked thief for husband Reuters - Mon May 12, 8:39 PM ET
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - A Malaysian Err...MICHIGAN woman woke up to a real-life nightmare, discovering that the naked man who had slipped into her bed in the middle of the night was a thief, not her husband, a newspaper said on Tuesday. After several invigorating hours with the Err THIEF...She realized it was NOT her husband, and said..UM>..YOu better get the heck out of here...OH "By the way...He'll be gone next Tuesday".....
AND FINALLY I GOT A WIN!!!!!!
Krisscop wins, now what? Here's My winners photo from Winning the state of NEW HAMPSHIRE!!!!
Though Krisscop easily won West Virginia, many analysts call it merely a symbolic victory....SYMBOLIC VICTORY!! Listen you gbuggers GIVE IT TO ME>>>I WON IT IT"S MINE!!! I HAVE CHINA YET THAT NEED ITS MATCH!!! I HAVE TO GET BACK THERE!!!!
And this THIS humiliating piece picked up by Rueturs about me also....HEY I should have KNOWN better, I was a PAROLE agent..and PROBATION...and worked in a "nut" house..but STILLL Look how they did me!!!
........I was walking past the mental hospital the other day,and all the patients were shouting ,"13....13....13"
The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a little gap in the planks and looked through to see what was going on.
Some bastard poked me in the eye with a stick.
Then they all started shouting "14....14....14"...
But seriously...heres a site of abandoned "state mental Hospital" pictures....yep...been there done that, have the set of keys to prove it...they never were very good on Key inventory!!!

This is a picture from of him from his website:
This is the note I sent him this morning:
What we have done just recently to save money:
* Take old shampoo./dishwasher liquid bottles to the Food Co op and have them refilled. One bottle lasts...well ..we haven't worn out a plastic bottle yet. With 3 urchins, I just like that we aren't throwing all the extra plastic in the trash
*We have stopped as much as possible BUYING bottled water. WE use REFILLABLE tap water from home. What ever "special" squeeze bottle they want is fine, it's cheaper than buying for every event.
Three Urchins + Tae Kwon Do+ dance= lots of money literally that is just "peed" away. Tap water=free $$. Sometimes the kids remember to fill bottle 1/3 full and put in freezer, then fill it before we leave= COLD bottled water! I think we save at LEAST ten dollars a week just doing this.
* We take our kids to charter school 40 minutes from home. I pack Snacks for when we pick them up so we aren't Sucked into the "I"m so hungry I"m going to pass out PLEASE stop at McDonald's trap".
*I joined the kids Charter School Board so I would know what is REALLY going on. Benefit: I KNOW what is going on. We RARELY have ANY parents or staff come. How does this affect money??? I am helping Shape MILLIONS in the budget, teacher salaries etc. Readers can save by this tip maybe: Our managing company gives a small kick back to an employee if they don't take the insurance. (Say for instance a spouse had insurance and it covers them). Benefit to school is thousands in Cost, even tho ALL savings doesn't go to employee, it is more cash in their pocket.
* I got addicted to "Propel" water drink. I was buying it at $1.75 a bottle from one of the schools vending machines where I teach Sign Language EVERY day. I found the Powered packets TEN for a dollar, and use them as a TREAT once a week IN my bottled tap water (remember the item above?). And guess what??? Its' JUST FINE!!! LOL.

More Photos to try and break my funk
Photo's...
Ok. I've been in a Funk. First...absolute overwhelmed....then..getting ready for D.C. trip...then exhausted...then had a "CHEW" out with a boss that didn't have to be, then I don't know what. I have SO much I want to say, am afraid to say and so on. SO
Maybe by doing what my fellow blogger suggested, a photo a day...it can help me get unstuck. (http://bbmpsecondjournal.blogspot.com/2008/05/photo-day-for-may-day-one.html)
This is one of the most important influences in my life. My sister.
