New Section: Parole/Probation stories

Inspired by comments at PUNTABULOUS ( )
talking about his eruption...I have been inspired to begin sharing stories of my sentence while a Parole/Probation Agent.

GET READY.... can anyone say..."VINES PLEASE"......and so much more!

My Response on Punt's site:

Oh you whining punk ass bitch. (smiles). Just TRY and get mammoth Craters EVERY MONTH….for 2 weeks before a flowing magma event, and during the week of the LAVA flow, and then complain again about a little tiny section of thy nose turning PINK not red.
You want red? I’ll show you red!…Where the “popping” surface is greater than the size of your
projecting spout you call a nose!
Where the pussy fluid fills itself over and over again because of hormone changes!
yes..get out your violin baby….

(I just HAVE to add this here. I’ve never been able to put it anywhere out of tenderness toward a reading audience. I was formerly a Parole/Probation Agent for adults. One “son” …said his MOM…used to make him lie he got BACK ZITS very badly…and..
oh…I don’t think I can do this…..

OK..its your blog…I think I can…

AND SHE WOULD BITE THEM to pop them!….

Nothing seems to bother you - you sail through life crisis free. It's not that your life doesn't have its ups and downs, it's just that you handle everything without unnecessary drama and antics. You approach each day fresh, not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. You are confident that you can handle anything that comes your way and experience has shown that you are absolutely right about this.
You are continually pursuing a simpler and less complicated life - you don't allow yourself to fall victim to all of the "should do's" that society continually bombards you with. You are thoughtful about your life choices and think in terms of yourself, others and the world in which we live. You have a great sense that we are part of something much bigger and we must be good to others, if we want others and the world to be good to us.
Because you tend to be self reflective, you know your limits quite well and must remember to not exceed those limits. When you overwhelm your life with obligations and responsibilities, you tend to shut down and go into yourself even further. Take some time to find your serenity and kick back your feet.
You are a cuddle bug - from a warm hug shared with your best friend to steamy sex with your partner, you enjoy every bit of human contact that you can get. You demonstrate your love for others most fluidly through physical one-on-one contact and you feel the most loved when you are being touched. You feel disconnected when you are physically isolated from others. You're a people person and a lover of all things human.

Why men don't write Advice columns

Why men don't write advice columns

Dear Walter:

I hope you can help me here. The other day I set off for work
leaving my husband in the house watching the TV as usual. I hadn't gone
more than a mile down the road when my engine conked out and the car
shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help.
When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in the
bedroom with a neighbor
lady making mad passionate love to her.
I am 32, my husband is 34 and we have been married for twelve
years. When I confronted him, he tried to make out that he went into
the back yard and heard a lady scream, had come to her rescue but found
her unconscious. He'd carried the woman back to our house, laid her in
bed, and began CPR.
When she awoke she immediately began thanking him and kissing
him and he was attempting to break free when I came back. But when I
asked him why neither of them had any clothes on, he broke down and
admitted that he'd been having an affair for the past six months.
I told him to stop or I would leave him. He was let go from his
job six months ago and he says he has been feeling increasingly depressed
and worthless. I love him very much, but ever since I gave him the
ultimatum he has become increasingly distant. I don't feel I can get
through to him anymore.
Can you please help?

Mrs.. Sheila Usk

Dear Sheila:

A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused
by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is
no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the jubilee clips
holding the vacuum pipes onto the inlet manifold. If none of these
approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is
faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the carburetor float chamber.

I hope this helps.

The Guardian

A South Carolina farmer was forced to cut off his arm with a pocket knife after a farm machine in which his hand was trapped burst into flames.

"If I was going to die here I was going to put up a fight, and that's basically what I did," Sampson Parker told a local reporter.

Parker had noticed a corn stalk stuck in a picker, but when he attempted to remove it, the machine caught his glove, pulling his hand into a mechanical roller.

Article continues
"The more I tried pulling my hand out, the farther up my hand went," he said. The farmer used a metal rod to stop the machine, and spent the next hour on his knees calling for help with his hand still trapped in the machine.

With no help forthcoming the farmer decided to cut off his fingers with his knife, but as he began cutting a spark from the metal rod caused the machine to catch fire.

Parker found himself trapped, kneeling on the ground with one hand in the machine and the other fending off the flames spreading in the grass.

"My skin was melting. It was dripping off my arm like plastic, plastic melting. I realised I was in trouble," he said.

He picked up his knife once more. "And I just jammed it into my arm, just like that, just started cutting away from the bone," he said.

Once he was free he drove to his home, where a passing firefighter came to his aid, wrapping his severed arm and calling for assistance.

Parker has since managed to put the incident behind him. "[I] came down here, had a prayer with God and the corn picker and me. Made it easier. Made peace with it," he said.

OOPS? You mean I wasn't supposed to screw my brothers wife???

and just WHAT THE HELL does this mean???
"My uncle is 100 percent guilty, but his accusers are guilty as well,"

This article just reinforces SO many things...WHAT REALLY MAKES A PARENT? Is it the SPERM DONOR? No! HE already HAS a Dad. So his uncle was the sperm donor...that is IT. I've seen this soo many times with Foster Children/Adoptive parents. AWWCKK I'll stop before I begin to RANT even more!!

DECATUR, Ga. - The 80-year-old leader of a suburban Atlanta megachurch is at the center of a sex scandal of biblical dimensions: He slept with his brother's wife and fathered a child by her.

Members of Archbishop Earl Paulk's family stood at the pulpit of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at Chapel Hill Harvester Church a few Sundays ago and revealed the secret exposed by a recent court-ordered paternity test.

In truth, this is not the first — or even the second — sex scandal to engulf Paulk and the independent, charismatic church. But this time, he could be in trouble with the law for lying under oath about the affair.
The living proof of that lie is 34-year-old D.E. Paulk, who for years was known publicly as Earl Paulk's nephew.

"I am so very sorry for the collateral damage it's caused our family and the families hurt by the removing of the veil that hid our humanity and our sinfulness," said D.E. Paulk, who received the mantle of head pastor a year and a half ago.

D.E. Paulk said he did not learn the secret of his parentage until the paternity test. "I was disappointed, and I was surprised," he said.

Earl Paulk, his brother, Don, and his sister-in-law, Clariece, did not return calls for comment.

A judge ordered the test at the request of the Cobb County district attorney's office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which are investigating Earl Paulk for possible perjury and false-swearing charges stemming from a lawsuit.

Admitted affair to the church last year
The archbishop, his brother and the church are being sued by former church employee Mona Brewer, who says Earl Paulk manipulated her into an affair from 1989 to 2003 by telling her it was her only path to salvation. Earl Paulk admitted to the affair in front of the church last January.

In a 2006 deposition stemming from the lawsuit, the archbishop said under oath that the only woman he had ever had sex with outside of his marriage was Brewer. But the paternity test said otherwise.

So far no charges have been filed against Earl Paulk. District Attorney Pat Head and GBI spokesman John Bankhead would not comment.

The shocking results of the paternity test are speeding up a transformation already under way in the church after more than a decade of sex scandals and lawsuits involving the Paulks, D.E. Paulk said.

"It was a necessary evil to bring us back to a God-consciousness," said the younger Paulk, explaining that the church had become too personality-driven and prone to pastor worship.

The flashy megachurch began in 1960 with just a few dozen members in the Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta. Now, it is in the suburbs on a 100-acre expanse, a collection of buildings surrounding a neo-Gothic cathedral.

Once had 10,000 members
For years the church was at the forefront of many social movements — admitting black members in the 1960s, ordaining women and opening its doors to gays.

At its peak in the early 1990s, it claimed about 10,000 members and 24 pastors and was a media powerhouse. By soliciting tithes of 10 percent from each member's income, the church was able to build a Bible college, two schools, a worldwide TV ministry and a $12 million sanctuary the size of a fortress.

Today, though, membership is down to about 1,500, the church has 18 pastors, most of them volunteers, and the Bible college and TV ministry have shuttered — a downturn blamed largely on complaints about the alleged sexual transgressions of the elder Paulks.

In 1992, a church member claimed she was pressured into a sexual relationship with Don Paulk. Other women also claimed they had been coerced into sex with Earl Paulk and other members of the church's administration.

The church countered with a $24 million libel suit against seven former church members. The lawsuit was later dropped.

Jan Royston, who left the church in 1992, started an online support group for former members to discuss their crushed faith and hurt feelings.

"This is a cult. And you escape from a cult," she said. "We all escaped."

These days, Earl Paulk has a much-reduced role at the cathedral, giving 10-minute lectures as part of Sunday morning worship each week.

"My uncle is 100 percent guilty, but his accusers are guilty as well," D.E. Paulk said, declining to talk further about the lawsuits.

World Class Tournement-Nov 2007

The tournament took place at Grand Rapids Community College, on Nov. 17th.
High Blue Shelly, High Blue Helena, Low blue William, Red belt Brice, and Yellow green Joy and their mom headed down the day before the event. This portion of the trip was sponsored by our Mentor Cathy. Thanks to Cathy, Helena, William and Joy were given their equipment. Helena is HAPPY to have a helmet that fits her properly!!

Shelly and Helena tested for Red belt. Shelly got a silver for sparring and _____ for form.
Helena got a Silver for Form and Bronze for Sparring.
William got a bronze for both Form and sparring
Joy got two silver--form and One step
Brice got ______ form, and ______ sparring.
JR and Anne came down with their parents, as did other classmates from Mid Michigan.
We met competitors from Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky. It was amazing!
The hotel for the tournaments was the DAYS INN 310 Pearl Street NW
Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean, and the hot tub and pool area were well used!! The kids had a blast throwing small foam balls back and forth.
Friday night we ate in the hotel lounge, with appetizers being 1/2 price until 7:00. Brice's brother Evan, and Evan's gf Ellen came down to support us!!
We had Connected rooms.
William Brought his Headplay gaming system--which consists of a visor like screen, allows for individual play as tho you are viewing a 7 ft screen from 5 feet away.

Saturday we had breakfast across the street at Burger King. It was fast convenient..and..their bathrooms were broken and were letting out a HORRIFYING smell from broken sewer lines. On our way worker LOST IT....aka THREW UP RIGHT in the KITCHEN@@!! Yikes!!
We had a difficult time getting to the Community COllege as the SANTA PARADE was taking place.
I helped at the table selling shirts, patches etc. Master G designed a t shirt specifically for the tournament. Poppy, a black belts mom was working also.

Required tournament sparring equipment: Trunk pad, Head pad, Groin guard (male), Hand / Forearm pads, Shin / Instep pads, and Mouth safety equipment.
I was frustrated as a mom, as the girl that was sparring with Helena did NOT have ANY equipment on, as she entered the ring. Helena was prepped and ready, THEN had to wait as they peeled equipment off of another competitor and put it on. Helena was very strong.

Overall I was SOO impressed with the professionalism and fair play of competitors!! I am SO happy my kids have a chance to learn from Mrs. Paula Robison, Her son Brian, and Mr and Mrs G. WOW. Paula kicked butt in her fight, taking a gold!

Saturday, Don came down and we ate at SAN CHEZ. WOW. it was great--garlic almonds, fabulous food! Voted GR's # 1 restaurant. Sunday, the entire P clan, and us went to a COOL GRILL, just down from the hotel. There was a HUGE real wall safe. Pictures were taken will post when I get them.

Great Job everyone!! Then Don and I headed across the State to Ann Arbor for the Guitar quartet. It was fabulous!!

My life.....

"I read and walked for miles at night along the beach, writing bad blank verse
and searching endlessly for someone wonderful who would step out of the darkness
and change my life. It never crossed my mind that that person could be me."

LAGO: Los Angeles Guitar Quartet!! ANN ARBOR

The Record Shelf review of "LAGQ Brazil":

The most accomplished and recorded guitar quartet since the Romeros, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet has just released its newest Telarc album, and album called "Brazil". It not only features the work of that alluring Brazilian singer (and muse of the Argentian composer Osvaldo Golijov) Luciana Souza, but also serves to introduce the quartet's newest member, Matthew

Ok...been job searching, interviewing, substitute teaching...all in search of the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!!

Had a "GREAT" gig last week...(I'm loving the use of too many quotations having been on the blog fo unnecesary quotations marks recently). I, Yes I...your stalwart and never read blog writer, was substitute teaching high schoolers beginning sign language all week. This was done through TECHNOLOGY....TELEVISION. At the Local School Resource building, classrooms can be connected---with each other and the instructor in REAL time. (well One has a 5 second delay). It was fun, scary, and interesting. The former instructor had been "let go" in the middle of the semester, and I filled in while they hired a "real" teacher. I learned a lot.

THEN....Had an interview for a Social Work position in a nursing home north of us. It entails a drive, good not FAB giving up 11 hours of my day/home/child life worth this? Jury is out. Seems like a great organization, which with some of the places I've worked would be nice. Reminds me I'll have to google them.

Friend's dad is in critical condition in North Carolina. She visited last week, and he's gotten much worse. I offered to drive down on Monday, but then couldn't get a FILL IN for ME!!...Some of my commitments I could have gotten rid of, but the kids have Tae Kwon Do tournements in Grand Rapids this weekend that they have worked months for...and we've already paid for. hub would have had to call in sick for 2 days, we have concert tickets for a California Guitar band in Ann Arbor on Sunday, I may have official "2nd" interview for job etc.

Am supposed to take Doug down to Lansing tomorrow to see his son play!! That should be a blast. I love Lansing. May try and talk Don into going--two guitar things in one week.

I am subbing today at the alternative High School. Great bunch of kids..mostly self directed. I love this place, I've taught Love and Logic here before.
